I'm trying to set up SSH port forwarding and most of it is working.
(Unfortunately I don't have the debugs or strace output available
until I get back to the site, so general suggestions is about all I
can ask for. :-) )

I can ssh into each system -- the forwarding system as well as the
ultimate target system with no problems. If I use port forwarding it
goes through the whole process and asks me for my password.....as soon
as I enter it, it completes the connection and then disconnects me.
There is a reference to a file or directory not being found which
isn't part of the process for looking for keys or authorities. I've
looked at the output from running the process through strace, but
can't figure out what it's trying to do.

Thanks in advance!
