Did you build it yourself, or copy it from another machinen on which it was
compiled? Are you sure the OpenSSL installed on that is compatible? What are
the results of running "ssh -v user@solaris-machine"?

And seriously, you may just be wasting your time trying to patch 3.4p1: I'd
urge you to skip fixing that and hop directly to 3.7.1p2, which is the
latest, if possible.
