Hi,
I tried using psftp to transfer files across the lan - server using
sshd2 from ssh.com. The transfer speed was about 12K/s which is
unbearably slow.
I set the cipher to blowfish as I believe that is one of the faster
ones but same result. I tried various things in the server but it was
also the same.
I then tried eval version of the F-Secure SSH client which has Sftp
and I was getting > 900K/s, which I can live with. :)
This seems that there may be an issue is psftp, at least in my
environment. Is there a known issue with psftp speeds, as I prefer a
command line util over a (commercial) GUI.
(I also tried pscp and got the same speeds).
