Hi,
Has anyone been able to make public key authentication work between
OpenSSH 3.4p1 and the SSH that comes with Solaris 9? Right now, the
client is 3.4p1 and the server is Solaris 9, but eventually I'll need
the other direction, too. Did you have to use any special settings in
the Solaris 9 sshd_config? Are there some settings we should avoid?
The SAs here have started to upgrade our Sun machines from Solaris 7 to
Solaris 9. I've found that after each machine is upgraded, I must use
password authentication. The public key authentication fails even
though the files in my ~/.ssh directory have remained unchanged.
If requested, I can post debugging output.
Thanks,
Marc
