I don't know what you mean by "SSH proxy." But if you want your NNTP
connection to be protected by SSH, then the SSH connection will have to
extend to the NNTP server, which means the NNTP server will have to be
running an SSH server as well, and you will need an account on it. Which
is not usually the case.
