Hi,
I want to telnet to a Unix server on the LAN at my work from home
using putty over an internet connection. The unix server is on a
private address range ie (10.0.0.x). We also have a server which runs
a firewall which has access to the internet and to the private
network. I have OpenSSH running on the server running the firewall and
on the Unix server. I can access the server running the firewall but I
cannot access the Unix server on the private network. I have tried to
use the port forwarding commands without much success. I'm a bit
confused with port forwarding with regard to local and remote options.
Can someone point me in the right direction.
Thanks
