Thanks a lot to Brian Pence, the developer of AbsoluteTelnet. He saw this
post and contacted me to understand the feature I was talking about and has
added in into the next release of the software. It works great (he let me
try it out) and uses a key combination with the mouse click so that it
doesn't interfere with apps that have native mouse support. AbsoluteTelnet
(has SSH support built in) has pretty much all the other features I was
looking for and is pretty cheap, so I think my problem is solved. Thanks
again.
