Hi out there,
I'm using the Remote Desktop Tool from Microsoft for Mac OS X.
The tool works perfect within the internal network.
But when I try to tunnel the service through a Linux firewall
(ssh login@firewall_ip -L 3389:windows_xp_computer_ip:3389)
and type in the Remote Desktop Tool localhost or 127.0.0.1 for
the Computer to connect to, then the tool is trying to connect
to, but reaches nothing.
I have tried ssh with the debug option "-v". The last debug-output
message is "channel 2: new [direct-tcpip]" and after a couple of minutes
"Connection timed out".
Has anyone an idea, or did anyone had the same problem ?
Greetings,
Mike
