Maybe someone can help me with this. I want to run some sort of
secure ftp server so I can uplode/d-lode school papers and homework
to my home server from my work/school windows 2000 desktops. My
dilemma is I can't/don't want to install anything (clients)on my work
or school's machines. Now I know that regular ie6 handles normal ftp
client functions fine but they're not secure, and I guess I could
maybe run a secure http webserver instead of ftp server since ie6
clients can use ssh(padlock icon) to download. But if I do a
webserver then I think I can only download from it, not upload to it.
Isn't there some means I can use inherent Windows 2k pro tools/clients
to establish a secure connection to some sort of server i can build at
home so that usernames and passwords aren't exchanged in the clear?
