Back before OpenSSH had a built-in sftp, I used to use the one from
http://www.xbill.org/sftp/oldindex.html which provided a very nice
interface, with both command-line history (sort of like in bash) and
filename completion (with the TAB key, like in bash).
Do these features exist in the official sftp that comes with OpenSSH?
The man page doesn't mention anything like this...
BTW, my version is:
OpenSSH_3.4p1 Debian 1:3.4p1-1, SSH protocols 1.5/2.0, OpenSSL 0x0090607f
