I did a search for the message:
warning: X11 auth data does not match fake data
and found only one reference -- an unanswered question about where it
comes from. Subsequently, I found the message comes from ssh.com's
secure ssh2 and I'm posting this save to others from recursive
grepping.
There's a lot to be said for the Unix convention of programs
announcing themselves by name at the start of their error messages!
