This is a bit of a newbie question, I'm by no means an expert so bear with
me please.

I have non-commercial ssh server on my linux machine. I want to give friends
access via the windows client (all current versions). I've chroot'd a group,
and since I don't need ssh shell access there are no binaries at all in
their home directories. They can all log in ok with the file xfer client and
upload and download etc. I want to allow them to follow symbolic links on
the linux machine out into other directories (outside the jail). The group
permissions are OK, but it they can't even see the link. I have a nasty
feeling this is going to be quite complex. Please, somebody tell me it's a
doddle.

John
