True, it sets it to xterm as opposed to vt220 that other clients do.I
don't seem to have the option to set Putty to vt220 emulation. I tried
putting
in export TERM=vt220 in by bash_profile but it doesn't seem to help.
How can I solve this? Also, what does TERM have to do with the
editor?
Thanks,
Dr.
