    Putty seems quite good, except it doesn't support mget/mput or
    wildcards. Unless I'm missing something?

    Users will be put off by having to type "put file_x.xxx" a few dozen
    times (well, the smart ones will just script that, too, but that doesn't
    cover the whole user base :-) )
