Hi all!
I'm trying to connect to zope's cvs server. I am doing this
with Putty 0.52.
Testing the SSH tunnel (it's a tunnel, isn't it?) by hand
doesn't work as expected.
What I've done so far:
1. generated private/public SSH2 RSA key pair using
puttygen
2. posted the public key to the CVS server. People
at zope corp. said that they have received the key
and that I should now be able to connect.
3. Pageant is running on my system with the key loaded.
4. When connecting to the server by:
plink gregweb@cvs.zope.org echo "dummy text"
I get a password prompt:
gregweb@cvs.zope.org's password:
This should not be as I and zope people understand.
5. Env. vars set (for wincvs as I understand):
HOME=e:\user\greg\data\zope3-dev
CVS_SSH=d:\program files\putty\plink.exe
PATH has d:\program files\putty in there.
I'm stuck, so help is apreciated. Thanks.
Greg
