Hello,
I can't seem to find an explanation for
this in the man pages or faq.
I am using OpenSSH_3.5p1 on solaris.
I tried "ssh -X", but DISPLAY is not set
on the remote end. Of course, no xterms
can be opened. I created ~/.ssh/config
with
Host *
ForwardX11 yes
But that didn't help. I checked our
/opt/ssh/etc/ssh[d]_config (there are
no such files in /etc/ or /etc/ssh/).
They *do* disable X11 forwarding, but
those lines are commented out.
Thanks for any pointers.
Fred
