Hi - has anyone be able to port forward SMB -
or SAMBA - using either Putty or the ssh.com Windows
XP client and a SSH2 server running under Solaris?
I can login into the SSH2 server on a Solaris machine
with both SSH clients.
I can port forward any port between any two
Solaris or Linux machines.
I'm using port 139 on both sides, i.e., I'm forwarding
the remote port 139 on the SSH2 server to localhost on the
Windows XP machine then trying to access the filesystem by
mapping
\\127.0.0.1\ken --> E: drive
with Windows Explorer.
But it complains that there is no path the volume.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
