Hi,
I want to be able to setup an ssh connection from a windows machine behind a
firewall. The ssh server (linux 2.4) is supposed to route traffic back to my
winbox, but it only allows me to do so from the ssh server itself (by
addressing localhost). I want it to allow this traffic from the eth0
interface on the server.
if I do a telnet localhost PORT on the server, it connects alright but when
telnetting to the ip of eth0 the connection is refused.
How do I need to setup my server to support this? Do I need to setup
iptables to rerout from eth0: to lo:?
cheers
Theo
