I'm fairly new to SSH and have read various info but seem to get stuck when
connecting to host with "public authentication failed for user xxx"

Heres what I've done so far:

Installed SSH on Server, did not run key-gen. Heres my sshd config:

I created my key pair on the Windows client using Secure CRT and copied
contents of the identity.pub to authorized_keys_root. When i try to connect
I get the authentication for ssh2 server failed for user xxx.

Appreciate help, feel I'm gettin close.
