Oh, yes. This helped save my ass the other day dealing with Japanese
filenames somebody had duped to a UNIX SMB server, and they were breaking
some scripts and messing up screens right and left.

And you can stash a copy in your home directory, too, for systems where you
don't have priviledges to install local software in the various system
directories.
