I recently upgraded gcc from 2.95.3 to 3.1. Openssh compiles fine, but when
executed produces:

sshd: Cannot find ELF
killed

An earlier newsgroup thread talked about gcc's strip being the culprit.
Using /usr/ccs/bin/strip resolved the problem. I assume that going back to
2.95.3 would as well, since all previous versions of openssh were compiled
fine with that. What exactly is this issue and is there a "nicer" way to
resolve it?
