Hi,

My computer at home is connected to the internet through a PPPoE ADSL,
and I have a domain name that I update through one of the free dynamic
DNS services (minidns.net). Works OK, except that when I'm not home,
and I try to connect to my computer that runs sshd (OpenSSH v. 3.1p1).
I get connected OK, but shortly afterwards, e.g. when I do an 'ls -l'
command, it freezes and I have to kill the process running the ssh
client at my work computer in order to use that terminal again. At
work I've tried connecting with both OpenSSH v3.1p1, and SSH 2.4.0
(from ssh.com) clients with the same problem. So I'm pretty sure this
is a widely known issue I'm just naive to, and if someone can tell me
what I'm doing wrong it would be much appreciated.

Oh by the way, I have linux kernel 2.4.18, and I also have my home
computer firewalled closing all but port 22.

Thanks

Andy
