Stock 3.2.2p1 on irix 6.5[.16m] with either cc 7.3.1.3m or gcc 3.0.4 fails
to compile monitor_fdpass.c:
cc-1020 cc: ERROR File = monitor_fdpass.c, Line = 58
The identifier "SCM_RIGHTS" is undefined.
[etc]
In sys/socket.h, SCM_RIGHTS is only available if _XOPEN_SOURCE is defined,
however defining this produces, perhaps unsurprisingly, a raft of other
compilation errors.
