problem starting ssh version 3.1 on Solaris 2.6

I've installed the packages from the Sun Freeware site using the
BOLTpget tool
("pkg-get install <packagename>"). When I try to start ssh I get the
following message:

ld.so.1: sshd: fatal: relocation error: file /usr/local/lib/libz.so:
symbol __register_frame_info: referenced symbol not found
Killed

   I'd appreciate any help you can give me on this. Thanks.
