SSH or SSL?

Hi,

I have been researching how to implement secure FTP. It seems like
the majority of solutions involve SSH2. However, I have seen some
information on secure FTP over SSL.

What are the differences between SSH and SSL? Is one better than the
other?

any information would be appreciated.
