It's not a bug, it's a feature.
The mindterm applet operates within the java sandbox. Such unsafe
operations are disabled.
If you use one of the signed applets (different ones for IE and NS),
you can bypass the security model and allow 'unsafe' operations like
cut 'n paste between applications.
