If you are interested in firewalls, tcp in general, and general connection
security issues, and don't mind buying a book (as opposed to downloading
info and Howto's) I can recommend this book:
Linux Firewalls by Robert Ziegler, etc.
I am reading this, and find it really informative, and the level of detail
is so that it is very understandable.
