Someway to tell the diff between a sftp from a shell session?

I whan't to output some text if the session is an interactive shell session
but not if it is an sftp subsytem session (the clients being confused by
the text outputs). Are there any variabels or someway to find out what session
is requested?
All is related to SSH2.
