Hmmm, that's interesting. There does seem to be a bug in PSCP here:
it's beginning SFTP file transfer proceedings without sending the
SFTP initialisation message first. I think at this point the remote
SFTP implementation is at liberty to call PSCP all sorts of nasty
names and ungraciously abandon the connection.

Just hanging is a bit of an odd response, though.

PSFTP does send the init message, so perhaps that's why it works and
PSCP doesn't.

OK, I'll fix PSCP on this score and get back to you.
