OpenSSH Error Message - Vim: Warning: Output not to terminal.

I login to a linux machine using ssh secure client shell. After I log
in I get the error message:

Vim: Warning: Output not to terminal

I get the error using
1. ssh shell for windows
2. Cygwin ssh
3. Using a terminal window in Linux itself.

This was working before this morning.. Any ideas?
