strange tcsh. vs. bash behavior of scp

Hi,

When I give the following command

scp me@mymachine.univ.edu:file.* .

from a tcsh I get the reply
"no match"

But if I do the same thing from bash I get a proper
response (i.e. query for password, and downloading of
appropriate files).

I dont see anything in my .tcshrc files that might cause this.
Its getting to be quite a bother since I use tcsh and a lot
of scp.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
