Another very basic question:
I'm not able to login using root from another host.
If I make ssh localhost it works but not from another host.
sshd_config is the default one with
PermitRootLogin yes
PasswordAuthentication yes
/etc/hosts.allow
# ipop3d: ALL: ALLOW
in.ftpd: ALL: ALLOW
# imapd: LOCALHOST, 127., 10.0.0.: ALLOW
# imapd: ALL : spawn (/usr/sbin/safe_finger -l @%h | /usr/bin/mail root)
& :DENY
in.telnetd: LOCAL, 127., 10.0.0.: ALLOW
# swat: LOCAL, 127., 10.0.0.: ALLOW
in.swat: LOCAL, 127., 10.0.0.: ALLOW
#should I take out # for this?
# ALL : ALL : DENY
which other files have I look?
