Minimize key size for sending only 10 messages

Hi

If I want to have a secure system, as always.
Moreover, want to minimize the key length in the nodes, for sending
data over a wireless network.
The keys will be used to sent only 10 messages, is there any info about
suitably algorithm, and keysize?
