Your recourse, if any, will be set forth by the user agreement or terms of service the company had you sign or otherwise implicitly agree to (i.e. if there's a warning banner with respect to usage rights when you log on to the system).
Though I disagree with the premise, if the company has no usage policy, then you have a lot of ground to stand on and they have little.
