Wanting to watch a bio-related video, I needed to Quicktime and so I
downloaded and installed Quicktime but I still couldn't watch that
video and also I couldn't hear the sound in video for news peices
anymore. So I unstalled and removed Quick Time but still no sound. I
guess, I needed to set to the previous sound choice, i.e driver.
Someone suggested me to do system restore or reinstall the driver of
previous setting. I don't know what it was; I think it was windows
default since I had reformatted the hard drive and reinstalled Windox
XP last October and didn't download anything to change on sound except
what I mentioned above. How do I go about fixing the sound issue. I am
not a hardware persona nd trying to learm some now.
Here is my system's components - from packing slip):
Dell Dimension 8100 Series, Pentium 4, Processor 1.3GHz
256MB RDRAM
..
..
SB Live! Digital Sound Card with 1024 voices
Altec Lansing ACS-340 Speakerswith Subwoofer
Thanks.
