Win2k sp4, patched etc, NAT'd behind firewall. I run Outlook XP

Whenever in Outlook, I lose control of the mouse as if someone is
hacking into me. The movements of the mouse are not random but remind
me of a macro (in that the same actions occur). This can happen at any
time and can stop at any time. I first thought that my optical mouse
was playing up so I swapped it for an old PS/2 mouse. If I try to take
control back of my system, I see the CTRL-ALT-DEL screen appear
fleetingly then, if Outlook is closed, it is reopened and the same
actions occur again. The actions are directed to opening a task or
calendar item but sometimes it appears as if a person is messing around
with my system. Nothing really malicious happens, though it is quite
disturbing to watch all this go on. I have an up to date anti-virus and
done a full scan recently that found nothing. I also installed Ad-Aware
and found nothing odd, though I quarantined and deleted lots of
cookies. I have thought about installing a firewall to see if any rogue
programs are listening.
I use Outlook's Auto-Preview and have heard it mention it can allow
certain nasties in.
Can anyone advise if I have been hacked?
