    Hey Old Guy,

    Seems someone on security-forums.com figured it out... And in
    hindsight, I'm kinda feeling.. DUH!!!!

    Anyway, nmap port scans, nothing else. Nessus, does a port scan, then
    once that is done a vuln scan, including RPC vulns...

    Retina does the vuln scan, while simultaneously doing port scans. Since
    Retina is making RPC calls to the system, the system is thus opening up
    those ports, which in turn causes Retina to see them... All makes sense
    now, just an order of operations thing. I am sure if Nessus did the
    vuln scann, while doing the port scan, the results would be the same..
