Very informative, i must say, thanks a lot,
that means i cannot set up my vnc connection if i am inside a NAT, and
it only allows outward connection & no inward. Thats true, that was the
same thing biting me off all the time. OK
Now lets move on to another part of it, as i really need to setup this
system.
Now suppose i use a dialup(only clients), and i setup the VNC server, i
buy a public ip, setup the server, install the VNC server. Now can the
clients using dialups(first scenerio) connect to my vnc server, which
is public, and can i access through VNC to the clients using the
VNC(assuming the clients are running in server mode). If its possible
then how can i proceed.
If the above scenerio is possible, then can it be possible for me to
access the clients machine from my VNCserver, as even if the client is
inside NAT, i should be able to communicate with the system. More
specifically, the client would be running the server in listen mode and
will add my server address as the vnc server.
Let me be straight, tell me how can i implement the VNC server, so that
i can connect on to clients, and i can setup a VNC server(single).
And if there's nothin that can be done, then please suggest me
something with which i can implement it.
