sure, the school paper, or even the local paper. Point is that now reporters
are being
scrutinized to reveal their sources, even threatened with jail time to
disclose all.
It's being tested in the courts at this moment.
Maybe the time has come for the industry to create a clearinghouse for
anonymous
tips like this to ameliorate the burden and vendettas this creates and come
to a quick
non-embarassing solution. The IT dept needs to act on this stat to avoid
serious
consequences. If the egos of the staff are that exalted, they will suffer
all the more
when the walls tumble.........
