    Firstly you need to look at why you want to hack?

    My reason is due to the fact I perform network admin duties, its my
    responsibility to look at aspects of internal clients how they are
    interacting etc. Or is your purpose to perform damage etc.

    Your experience? Look into aspects of programming, there are different
    levels of hackers, one that uses tools already created or one that
    creates tools, scripts etc for zero day exploits etc.

    Look at terms such as white hat, black hat, script kiddy
