I don't think there's any way you can do this yourself. Reading mail
doesn't leave any trails in the mail itself. The information is in the
mail provider's logs -- if they're not willing to provide it for you, I
don't think there's much you can do.
If you really want to pursue this, you might need to take legal action.
Hotmail will presumably help out if there's a court order.
