Norman Virus problem

Could someone help me please?

Norman virus has stopped updating on my computer. A red circle with a
cross now blinks on the 'N' logo. When I click on 'internet update', I
get the following message:

No available NIU validation server
...
Winsock error 10057.

I contacted Norman virus several weeks ago but yet to receive a reply.
Tried the online help but to no avail.

This problem has been going on for a month now. The last time Norman
virus was updated was end of Jan.

Any help would be appreciated.
