OK. You could of course just ignore it.
It would be nicer however if they just paid some of your expenses for
yours, but I guess they worry that you might break up in 3 months.

Sure.

Sure, but not in parallel. Ie you can have some addresses routed over her
network and some over yours. But you could not have half the packets for
some address going over yours and half over hers.

I guess so but you would have to have some cron running say every 5 min which checked if
yours had gone down and switched the routing over to hers or vice-versa.

No. The two networks have totally different addresses. There is no way that
the remote site could know to send the return packets (your download) to
two entirely different addresses and ports. And if they did, your side
would have a hell of a time fitting them together atgain.
