So your position is that if foreigners want to conquer us, it's acceptable
to not learn the language, but if they want to work, pay taxes and
contribute to our nation they're bad people if they don't give up their
native tongues?

But they aren't in a foreign country. Many of them are in their own
country.

In a nearby city, a large percentage of the population is Puerto Rican.
Not all, but a good chunk, speak barely any English. Yet they are US
citizens, right?

Problem is this - while we generally conduct our business in English,
afaik US has no official native tongue. That's why we must translate every
government document into all sorts of languages.

What you need to do is lobby Congress to pass a law making English the
official language of the US.
