See my previous posting on this topic; I gave the concentrations at
which hydrogen will burn instead of exploding. Low concentration would
probably be better, as the relative concentration of hydrogen
would at worst go lower and stop the burning; if one went for the
high concentration of hydrogen side of the curve, then one runs the
risk that the burning of the hydrogen will change the relative
concentrations to the point that an explosion would start.
