simple question: best simple blocking software (block certain address and its derivatives)

    hi,

    i find these google discussions very useful and informative and i'm
    just looking for very simple help.

    looking for a simple blocking software where i can block websites
    designated by myself and that website's derivative sites or addresses.

    i want to basically list 5 sites i'm addicted to and ban my access and
    i will have friend set the password... i tried internet explorer
    security but it seems too general and was always asking me about every
    single site that came up including pop-ups.

    i just want to tell the software that i don't want to be able to
    access cnnsi.com for example and then also not access today.cnnsi.com,
    top.cnnsi.com, cnnsi.com/baseball etc... i thought internet explorer
    would have this feature but very frustrating so far.

    what i want is probably much more simple that what's out there.. i
    don't need porn or swear word protection just 3-4 sites which i spend
    far too much time on and can't break the habit.

    any suggestions?? and greatly appreciated. thanks in advance.
