Hi, im considering investigating how biometrics can solve some of the
vulnerabilities in security in online purchasing, most notably the
online enrolment and verification before purchase.
I will need to implement a website with a biometric interface to
replace the old username/password access control.
The website will have cookie management obviously, but when the
checkout option is ticked, i want the website to verify that the user
is who he says he is by comparing the provided template with the one
provided at enrolment (together with the username and password).
therefore, an enrolment procedure will also need to be in place.
I am very new to biometrics and have no knowledge of how to implement
them into websites. What languages are best to use, any known API's
that i should use?
Any advice or links on how to program this would be very helpful.
Thanks
