Just a quick query, I use ethereal a fair bit for diagnosis of what is
*really* floating about networks, and wondered if anyone else does this
and has any hints and gotchas.
I've found a few bizarre things (like with having jetdirect connected
printers causing huge amounts of SNMP traffic and multicast every time
someone opens a word doc or opens an email, leftover ISP domain search
suffixes causing *massive* amounts of name resolution queries) and am
curious if anyone else has any horror stories and cures.
Cheers,
E.
