Well, I have not checked all my HTML mail, but *'good'* HTML mail is
sent as "Content-type: multipart/alternative;", with (first) a
"Content-Type: text/plain;" part and (then) a "Content-Type: text/html;"
part. For such mail, Outlook Express with "Read all messages in plain
text" ticked, will show the plain text with an *attachment* of the HTML
text. So you can safely view the plain text and if it is interesting and
from a known safe source, you *then* can double-click the HTML
attachment/version to view it.
