    Peppe,

Zone Alarm is good, but you'll spend a lot of time answering questions, when
each process tries to access the internet.

I use TCPView and Process Explorer (both free) from
http://www.sysinternals.com/. TCPView to list each process, with PID. Process
Explorer to show details about each process, way more than Task Manager. Both
    install hella easier than ZA.

And Peppe, please don't contribute to the spread and success of email address
mining viruses. Learn to munge your email address properly, to keep yourself a
bit safer when posting to open forums. Protect yourself and the rest of the
    internet - read this article.

    Cheers,

Paranoia comes from experience - and is not necessarily a bad thing.
